What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is a guided practice that uses specific breathing patterns to shift your physiology and state of mind. At LIN Collective we primarily work with conscious connected breathing supported by music, grounding and gentle facilitation.

Sessions are trauma-aware and paced to your nervous system. No previous experience required.

Neuroscience snapshot

  • Balanced CO₂/O₂ levels + longer exhales can signal safety to the body and support parasympathetic activation (rest & digest).

  • Rhythmic breathing can modulate brainwave activity and downshift overactive threat responses, improving interoception and emotional regulation.

  • Pairing breath with awareness helps re-pattern stress loops and builds nervous-system resilience over time.

Breathwork is generally safe, but if you are pregnant, have severe cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, epilepsy, recent surgery, or acute psychiatric conditions, please consult your doctor and inform the facilitator before joining - or refrain fully from the session.

  • Wear comfy clothing and bring a water bottle

  • Mats and blankets are provided

  • Sessions are beginner-friendly

  • Optional: scarf or sleep mask to cover your eyes for deeper relaxation
